Inspired by her personal journey toward body awareness and healing, Jen has awakened her innate desire to help others relieve pain, reduce stress, and live comfortably within their own bodies. Her intuitive approach to bodywork is based on connecting with each individual and assessing their unique needs. Jen draws from her knowledge of bodywork, yoga, meditation, and nutrition, as well as her studies abroad to create specific treatment plans and goals for each individual.
Jen considers herself a life-long student of the body and believes in the combination intuitive and scientific knowledge as a powerful catalyst for growth and healing.
She is a Licensed Orthopedic Massage Therapist, graduating in December 2011 from Cortiva Institute (Boston) where she completed 750 hours of intensive training in anatomy, physiology, and muscular therapy.
In 2012, Jen completed an intensive certification training in Orthopedic and Myofascial massage therapy with Tom Karis, LMT.
In 2014/2015, Jen traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand where she studied Thai massage with several master teachers and practitioners. Jen spent the majority of her time with Master Pichest Boonthumme, a legendary teacher of Dharma, Buddhism, and Thai massage.
Jen utlizes her training in both Eastern and Western healing practices to uncover the root causes of pain, stress, and physical ailments to create personalized treatments that promote long-term change. She enables clients to tap into their body’s self-healing powers, to develop their own personal practice of self-care, and to gain a greater understanding of how to achieve fluidity and freedom within their bodies.
