Regular massage benefits many common health concerns.
Massage benefits are cumulative. Just like eating one healthy meal a month does not make us healthy, getting a massage once a year creates only marginal improvement in our well-being and stress relief.
It's best to maintain a regular schedule of massage.
We recommend receiving one massage once a month as maintenance if you don't have any chronic tension or muscle pain. When dealing with an injury, or breaking up chronic tension, it's best to receive 4-5 massages over a course of several weeks until the problem gets resolved.
Common health concerns that are consistently treated with regular massage therapy:
Anxiety and Depression
Sudden Muscle Spasms (neck, calf, lower back)
Muscle Pain and Connective Tissue Pain
Shoulder muscle aches and injuries
Brachial Plexus Nerve entrapment and Carpal Tunnel
Hip Flexor Pain, Discomfort, and Tears
Breathing Diffuculties related to Diaphragm tension/weakness
TMJ (Temporo-Mandibular Joint Dysfunction), Jaw Pain and Tension
Often, clients ask 'what type of massage is best for specific conditions'. Please give us a call so we can give a detailed and personalized answer to your question.
