Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, and Swedish Massage
I am very passionate about working with the human body and helping my clients enhance their health and well being through touch. I received my Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in Brazil. I worked extensively with orthopedic rehabilitation, usually emphasizing clients treatments with manual therapy.
I graduated as a certified massage therapist from Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics and Massage Therapy in August 2017. Since then, I have been working in East West Massage and taking courses to learn more and improve my MT skills.
My specialties include Swedish, Deep tissue, Myofascial Release Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, and Prenatal
I personally like to blend techniques to attend the needs of my clients. Not every client needs the same body work done. Every massage is personalized to the client and any issues they would like addressed.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my 9 year old daughter, taking Forró (Brazilian dance) classes with friends, and traveling. I especially love visiting my family back home in Brazil.
Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone Massage
Svetlana is a 2014 graduate of Elizabeth Grady. She has her Level 3 master oncology training as well as Table Thai massage training. She offers deep tissue, sports, Swedish, and Table Thai massage. She'll soon be offering Myofascial Release to that list.
She absolutely loves being a part of her clients healing process and seeing the dramatic difference that massage can make.
Outside of Skin to Soul, Svetlana enjoys photography, just being out and in nature and cooking. She recently tried a cooking class.
Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy
I am an alum of Cortiva Institute in MA. I believe each body has the capability to heal itself and knows that every body is different.
I like to incorporate positive energy into all of my sessions because I believe it is beneficial and will assist in the bodies natural healing process. I specialize in deep tissue massage, sports massage, therapeutic massage, Neuromuscular/trigger point therapy and the calming Swedish massage. Throughout my career as an LMT, i've come to realize how important self care is in pain management. I really enjoy sharing self care techniques with my clients after their massage. I also share them with my friends/peers in my day to day life.
Aside from being a massage therapist, I enjoy being active in his community.
Outside of massage I do many things. I like to ride my bicycle around town, as I deliver farm shares locally via tricycle. I sell fish at a cambridge farmers market and I work as a barista in a Cambridge coffee shop. I do all these things to stay out there and to keep in touch with my community.
