Running clinic

Running Clinic is for beginning and experienced runners who would like to improve their running performance, running experience, and prevent potential injuries from running.

During each session, we will focus on some or all of the following:

  • Main Causes of Running Injuries
  • Gait, Stride, and other Body Mechanics Analysis and Recommendations
  • Running Muscles, Joints, and Tissues involved in running
  • To stretch or not to stretch
  • The importance of strength and stability vs. Range of Motion and Flexibility
  • Exercises to improve both strength and ROM
  • Footwear and Running Program Recommendations for Injury Prevention


Running Clinic includes a 20 to 30-Minute Neuromuscular Therapy (as needed).

Please wear running shoes and comfortable clothing as we may go outside (weather permitting) to observe gait, stride, and mechanics.


Slava Kolpakov is a Neuromuscular Therapist who has worked with many running injuries and has had great success in reversing and preventing injuries.

He combines Thai Massage's deep stretching techniques with Neuromuscular Therapy.

Please note that Running Clinic includes hands-on bodywork combinations of NMT and Thai Massage to address specific concerns.
