Yakema Gooding (Kema) has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for seven years. She graduated from a 720-hour Massage Therapy program at Everest Institute in Brighton, MA in 2007, and became licensed in 2008.
Since then, she has continued her education and training through her career at a national massage franchise, acquiring skills in Hot Stone Therapy, Deep Muscle Therapy and Foot Scrubs. During her time there, she has become well known for her strong hands and competent skill in Deep Tissue/Sports Massage.
Yakema also works with the Boston College Football team from time to time. She recently established a brand new business named Fit Le’ Chic Wellness, offering services in Holistic Health Coaching, Massage Therapy, and is currently taking classes in Nutritional Therapy.
Her future goal is to own her own Wellness Center which will provide Alternative HealthCare services. She hopes that in the future major Health Care Insurance providers will cover the costs of Alternative HealthCare so that all people will be able to benefit from the healing factors of Nature's herbs, proper dieting, and other natural healing practices.
When she is not utilizing her healing hands, her favorite down time is bike-riding near the Charles River. NATURE is her first love and she enjoys taking photographs of the beautiful landscapes near the Charles during her bike route. She is also a lover of International, funk, and jazz music.
Yakema finds it rewarding to see the positive changes she makes in her clients' lives. Each session she guarantees progress and results and customizes every massage to fit every client’s needs. Whether you have long-term treatment goals or just want to unwind, she is there to help.
